You need to work hard and put all of your effort, mind, and focus into something, and then the universe will meet you halfway. A philosophy that I have been following throughout my adult life that keeps me motivated and success-driven and I hope it inspires others as well.

I am currently studying and specializing in Accounting with honours at York University. I am aspiring to become a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) upon graduation and ultimately become a part of an influential global network. I am ambitious and a visionary. My long term goals include becoming CPA designated and working in forensics or consulting while my short term goals include improving my work ethic and just appreciating the little things in life.

At this stage in time, I am interested in expanding my professional horizons. I am seeking to connect with business professionals and developing meaningful lifelong connections. Due to this, I was eager to pursue an Accounting Director executive position at a professional student organization like EDA. I have always been passionate about entrepreneurship and business in general, because of the very foundation of entrepreneurs that aligns with me – they don’t fear taking risks and they are in full control of their destiny. Thus, EDA will allow me to not only grow as a person, but also enable me to learn from successful practitioners and help further my intellectual curiosity.
