WORKSHOPS

EDA workshops are a collection of theory, experiential, and hands-on exercises conducted by successful entrepreneurs. The workshops are designed in two parts, an information session and a group engagement towards the end where students can give their feedback and raise questions regarding their entrepreneurial venture. The goals of the workshops are:

  • To broaden students perspective on the complexity involved in the business world

  • To educate students on understanding the whole business cycle including starting and running their business venture

  • To address issues faced by start-ups

  • To connect students to practitioners and government representatives who can assist them in developing and implementing their business plan

  • To encourage and motivate students to pitch innovative business ideas

  • To identity key business techniques and how to communicate their business ideas to key leaders in the industry

  • To strengthen students' networking skills

The upcoming events and workshops starting this 2016-2017 academic term are as follows:

  • Meet'N'Greet

  • Business Development

  • Financial Guidance

  • Marketing Strategies
