Event# 4 -Young Entrepreneurship Panel Discussion
The last workshop for the winter semester was the Young Entrepreneurs Panel Discussion. This workshop was planned to provide students with the opportunity to hear from Young Entrepreneurs about their stories and how they overcame obstacles such as financial struggles, launching their products/services, and how to grow their business. Also, the discussion helped to increase the student's awareness of what's happening in the market as well as gave them a better understanding of how to position themselves as they prepare to launch their business idea and/or business. The four young entrepreneurs all came from a diverse background and targeted different industries. For instance, Fredrick Zhou the CEO of Nvest - specialized in the financial sector (stock and investment); Sam E. Yeganeh, The Vice President of Noble Queen Inc. targeted the food industry; Raphael Costa - business Consultant at Vaughan Business Enterprise Centre (VBEC) presented the government; and Bill Jouni shared his experiences from the product (portable heating devices) industry.
